Schofield, Walter Elmer

Walter Elmer Schofield was born in Philadelphia and studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts where he met Robert Henri, John Sloan and William Glackens. He recived a number of awards during his career as one of the leading American landscape painters of the early twentieth century.
